In honor of one of their biggest supporter's birthdays, PETA has rescued a pig named Nora to celebrate Miley Cyrus' big day.
A spokesperson for the animal rights organization says, "PETA knew that sponsoring a rescued pig was the perfect birthday present for a young woman who spends so much time encouraging others to help animals. From promoting animal adoption to speaking up for cows who suffer on dairy farms, Miley never stops letting her millions of fans know what they can do to make the world a kinder place."
In fact, the "Hannah Montana" star's fans helped join in on the star's cause by creating a donation page in honor of her birthday to benefit the animal charities Starkey and Saving spot.
Grateful for her loyal followers, on Friday she tweeted, "Thank you to all my fans who donated to @starkeyhearing @spotrescuedogs for my birthday :) y'all topped it again best bday present by far!"
