Stars Turn Up for DIRECTVs Beach Bowl

While the Super Bowl may still be a day away, A-listers gathered for the Celebrity Beach Bowl on Saturday (February 2) in New Orleans.

The brainchild of DIRECTV Vice-President of Public Relations Jon Gieselman, the internationally televised event is played by stars on over one million pounds of sand.

Celebs sporting the company’s logo on their jerseys included Maria Menounos, Katharine McPhee, Chace Crawford, and Josh Hutcherson.

Also decked out in blue-and-white and ready to get their game on were Nina Dobrev, Snoop Lion, and Peter Facinelli.

In addition to the day’s festivities, a post -game concert featuring Justin Timberlake and Chris Young will take place later in the evening.
