Soap Dish: Peter Reckell Leaving Days Of Our Lives

It is a double dose of Soap Dish this week my friends but I just couldn’t wait to dish about the news that the amazing Peter Reckell is leaving Days of Our Lives, sad. Thanks to a Tweet from Peter’s wife the other day fans are now aware that Reckell is for sure leaving the show he has been a part for almost 30-years. Here is what she had to say. “Hard to say goodbye to characters who’ve been on 4ever!! Hard 2 believe Bo will be one of those shortly!” As for why the hunky actor is leaving, well there is a lot of speculation on that with the main point having to do with money. There are allegations that Peter was asked to take a sizeable pay cut, which he did in his previous negotiations. I don’t know if that is true or not and I don’t even want to speculate about the why because it isn’t going to change the inevitable which is, Reckell will soon be off the NBC soap opera.
