Rooney Mara: Cafe Gitane Dinner Darling

Enjoying a leisurely weekend, Rooney Mara was spotted making her way around the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Saturday (September 10).

The "Tanner Hall" actress was busy texting away on her cell phone as she walked back to her abode after grabbing some take-out dinner from the popular Cafe Gitane.

Miss Mara has gained quite a bit of notoriety after being chosen to portray Lisabeth Salander in the much-awaited movie "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

Talking about Rooney's efforts in the role, co-star Christopher Plummer - who plays retired businessman Henrik Vanger in the movie - recently told press, "It's extraordinary. And because she looks so young, it's very frightening. The innocence makes it even more terrifying. She is going to be the most wonderful Tattoo Girl."

The highly anticipated film, which also stars Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsg�rd and Robin Wright, is set to open on December 21, 2011.
