"Battleship" Sneak Peek Released

Taking on a role like never before, a sneak peek of Rihanna in ?Battleship? has been released.

In the action/sci-fi flick, the ?Umbrella? singer plays a character named Raikes and her co-stars include Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Brooklyn Decker.

Per IMDB?s website, the movie involves a fleet of ships that are forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals.

The action-packed, edge of seat feature hits theaters on May 18, 2012.
