It?s no secret she loves the Big Apple, and Katie Holmes was spotted out in New York City earlier this morning (November 10).

The ?Don?t Be Afraid of the Dark? dame looked cute in flats, skinny navy slacks and a fuzzy gray sweater as she arrived back to her swanky apartment.

In related news, Tom Cruise has his lovely wife Katie to thank for nudging him into taking on the role in his upcoming musical film, ?Rock of Ages.?

Tom told the LA Times, "I had started dancing because I was inspired by my wife," said Cruise. "Kate's a dancer, so she would say, 'Let's go to dance class.'"
