Reese Witherspoon to Be Honored with Generation Award

Garnering another top-level accolade, Reese Witherspoon is set to be feted at this weekend's MTV Movie Awards.

The "Water for Elephants" actress has been named as the recipient of the Generation Award in honor of her career-long accomplishments.

In making the announcement, MTV President Stephen Friedman called Witherspoon "one of the most versatile and accomplished performers of her time."

The MTV Movie Awards are set to be hosted by "Saturday Night Live" star Jason Sudeikis while taking place at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 5).
