American Idol’s Kris Allen & Pregnant Wife Recovering After Car Accident

American Idol alum Kris Allen and his wife Katy Allen are said to be in stable condition following a dangerous car accident on New Year’s Day. The couple, who married back in 2008, where traveling with their dog Zorro when they were struck head on by another vehicle. Tweeting the news on Tuesday, Allen also revealed the good news that his wife is pregnant! “Yes, I got in a really bad wreck tonight. “ Adding, “And yes I’m having a lil baby.” The singer also went on to reassure fans that although he broke his arm and required surgery, his current tour schedule is still on. Allen didn’t add any additional details, but according to TMZ his pregnant wife did sustain minor unknown injuries and was said to be doing fine. “Twilight” Star Bronson Pelletier: Peeing in Public

Now that his werewolf days are over, Bronson Pelletier appears to be having a hard time letting go of his animal tendencies.

The “Twilight” hunk showed up pretty wasted at LAX International Airport and ended up getting tossed from his flight.

While he tried to sober up in the departure lounge, Bronson felt the call of nature and pulled out his ‘little wolf’ to urinate on the carpet.

From there, Pelletier was arrested by two policemen and detained. He’ll face the judge on January 7th at which time he could be thrown in jail for up to six months.

Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off <MTVNLINK type="url" id="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK>'s 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again."That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on <a href="/news/articles/1610708/adam-allison-shine-on-idol-rock-night.jhtml">"American Idol" rock night</a> Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004.<div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"> <embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtvmusic.com:84215" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="dist=http://www.mtvmusic.com" allowFullScreen="true" AllowScriptAccess="always"></embed></div>The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album Led Zeppelin II. Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon.For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997.Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' Track List Revealed

You kind of can't go wrong when the soundtrack you've put together for one of the most eagerly anticipated literary adaptations in years kicks off <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1229828">Yeah Yeah Yeahs</MTVNLINK> singer Karen O's take on <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</a>'s "Immigrant Song."<div class="player-placeholder right" title="The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" id="vid:693384" width="240" height="211"></div>Fans heard the throbbing industrial take on the rock classic cooked up by former Nine Inch Nails mastermind and O when a trailer for the David Fincher-directed "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" leaked back in May. And on Thursday, Oscar-winning industrial-rocker-turned-film composer Reznor and musical partner Atticus Ross unveiled the full track list for their "Tattoo" score album.The follow-up to their award-winning "The Social Network" score was a labor of love, according to a <a href="http://nin.com/?id=102677" target="_blank">post</a> Reznor put up on the NIN site on Thursday announcing the disc. "For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher's 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,' " he wrote about the American version of the tale of pierced and punished hacker <a href="/news/articles/1655879/rooney-mara-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara)</a> and her muckraking journalist compatriot <a href="/news/articles/1667542/daniel-craig-rooney-mara-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig)</a>. "We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers. Hillary Clinton Hospitalized!

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been hospitalized for a blood clot that stems from a concussion she suffered a couple of weeks ago. Today Clinton was taken to a New York City hospital where she was admitted for a blood clot, which can be life threatening if not caught in time. I am not saying that is the case of Hillary but just a little fact there. The State Department has revealed that it believes her current condition was caused by a fall she took two weeks ago. The fall was due to the former First Lady being super dehydrated thanks to a bad stomach virus she had at the time. The clot was discovered earlier on Sunday when Clinton went to see her doctors for a follow up visit. She was immediately taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital where she is being treated with anti-coagulants. Hillary will reamin in the hospital for at least 48 hours so that the condition of the blood clot can be monitored. Spike Lee Finishing Michael Jackson Documentary

Movie focuses on the singer's 'Bad' album.

Director Spike Lee is finishing work on an upcoming documentary about <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml">Michael Jackson's</a> landmark 1987 Bad album that will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Thriller follow-up that has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.Lee, who was friends with the late pop king and directed the official video for the posthumous single <a href="/news/articles/1623590/michael-jacksons-this-it-single-debuts-online.jhtml">"This Is It,"</a> , said he learned a lot about MJ while making the as-yet-untitled movie.<div class="player-placeholder right" title="Behind The Scenes Of 'Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour'" id="vid:755805" width="415" height="255"></div>According to the <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/spike-lee-michael-jackson-bad-documentary-347297" target="_blank">Hollywood Reporter</a>, the movie will be part of a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Bad. "We have footage in this documentary that no one's ever seen, stuff that Michael shot himself, behind-the-scenes stuff," Lee said. "We had complete access to the vaults of Michael Jackson. ... He wrote 60 demos for the Bad record. Only 11 made it. So we got to hear a lot of that stuff, too, so it was just a great experience ... You don't have to be a Michael Jackson-head to enjoy this." Bad, which was released more than five years after Jackson's breakthrough, Thriller, the best-selling album of all time, is also one of the all-time top-sellers. In a record tied by Katy Perry last year, it spawned five Hot 100 #1 singles, including "I Just Can't Stop Loving You," "Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Man in the Mirror" and "Dirty Diana."The 25th anniversary re-release of Bad will hit shelves on September 18 and feature additional tracks, a DVD and other material. No release date has been announced yet for Lee's documentary, though it is slated to hit screens this year.Lee sat down with everyone from Kanye West to Mariah Carey and Sheryl Crow (who was a back-up singer on the Bad tour) for the film, which he said will show fans a more personal, funny side of MJ. "We really divided it into two things: Artists today who were influenced by Michael, and then people who worked side by side - musicians, songwriters, technicians, engineers, people at the label, who were all committed to Michael, to the follow-up to the biggest record of all time, which still is Thriller," he said.A doc chronicling Jackson's rehearsals for what was to be his series of comeback shows, <a href="/news/articles/1625274/michael-jacksons-this-it-has-strong-international-debut.jhtml">"This Is It,"</a>  was released in 2009 and became one of the highest-grossing music docs of all time.<a href="http://www.mtv.com/photos/?fid=1617615"><img src="http://www.mtv.com/news/photos/s/spotted/banner/spotted.jpg"></a>

Jessica Chastain: Back to Work on The Great White Way

Heading back to work after the New Year holiday, Jessica Chastain arrived at the Walter Kerr Theater in New York on Tuesday (January 1).

In movie news, Jessica will be back on the big screen in the action drama "Zero Dark Thirty," about the hunt for terrorist Osama bin Laden and his death at the hands of Navy S.E.A.L. Team 6.

The film, which also stars Joel Edgerton and Chris Pratt, will be in theaters nationwide on January 11.
